To examine the effect of alpha-actinin-3 deficiency on muscle atrophy response following dexamethasone treatment. Adult male C57BL6 WT and Actn3 null mice were given a single bolus of 20 mg/kg dexamethasone sodium phosphate by intraperitoneal injection. Controls were injected with saline. Quadriceps muscles were harvested and RNA extracted for RNA-seq analysis at 3 hr or 24 hr post injection.
