Interim Report on the Impacts of Flooding at Office of Land and Emergency Management (OLEM) Sites & Facilities

U.S. EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) is preparing a new assessment report on the impacts of flooding to Office of Land and Emergency Management (OLEM) sites and facilities, for a range of site types: Superfund, Brownfields, Tanks, RCRA, PCBs, Landfills. This presentation presents the progress of the EPA report including results from the literature review, geospatial screening, and synthesis of focus group discussions with EPA headquarters, regions, states, and Tribes. The presentation summarizes the current and projected impacts due to flooding and identifies data gaps and programmatic needs to address flooding in the future.<br>
