Turf Transplant baseline soil biogeochemistry, 2024.

The Turf Transplant Experiment was set up in the summer of 2024. Paired experimental sites were established in two tundra community types - dry meadow and moist meadow - with one site of each community type pair in a lower elevation/warmer area and one site in a higher elevation/cooler area. Subplot turfs (25 cm^2) were transplanted (1) between sites of the same community type at different elevations/temperatures, (2) between plots within the same site or (3) left in place as non-transplant controls. Biogeochemical data from time 0 was taken in pre-established plots outside of the subplots. Coordinates to the biogeochemical plots can be found in this package. This data package contains gravimetric soil moisture measurements.本草皮移植试验于2024年夏季启动。试验针对两种苔原群落类型——干燥草甸与湿润草甸——设置配对样地：每类群落的配对样地中，一处坐落于低海拔暖温区域，另一处位于高海拔凉温区域。25平方厘米的小样方草皮被施以三种处理：(1) 在相同群落类型但海拔/温度不同的样地间移植；(2) 在同一样地内的小样方间移植；(3) 原地保留，作为非移植对照。试验前，研究人员在小样方外的预设样地采集了时间零点的生物地球化学数据，该生物地球化学样地的坐标可在本数据包中获取。本数据包包含重量法土壤湿度测定数据。
