资源简介:
This focused on a non-model freshwater copepod, Leptodiaptomus minutus, which survived during historical lake acidification and pH recovery in the region of Killarney Park, ON CA, through adaptation. We present pooled whole-genome sequencing from L. minutus resting eggs extracted from sediment cores in two acidified lakes for three time periods: pre-industrial period (before 1930), acidification period (1970') and recovery period (2000-2019). The WGS data was used to detect signatures of selection to from the acidification and the pH recovery, follow allele frequency changes over time, and to document effects of the acidification on genetic diversity through demographic models.
