Hair cortisol concentration method validation study 1

In this study hair samples were collected from 32 participants whilst they were having their hair cut. The hair samples from each participant were aliquoted into 25mg lots of the hair and analysis conducted to test how reproducible the hair cortisol method is and to explore how the time taken to incubate the samples may influence the hair cortisol concentration.The hair cortisol analysis methods were developed and the ARU Biomarker Laboratory (https://arubiomarkerlab.co.uk/)The research was conducted in accordance with ethical approval from the Faculty of Science and Technology Research Ethics Panel (FREP) at Anglia Ruskin University.The data is provided in CSV and SPSS/ SAV formatThe ELISA dataset provides detailed output from the ELISA analysis for each sample. Includes: cortisol replicate data and optical density data from the primary read (450nm) and the secondary read (620nm). A linking code is provided that links together samples from the same participant. This is an anonymized code that does not link to participants original ID number.This data is being submitted for publication. (This dataset forms study 1)
