Here, "aa" represents the Cssep2 mutant, while "Cu2" stands for the background material CU2. "0d," "5d," and "16d" respectively denote samples collected 0 days, 5 days, and 16 days after anthesis (flower opening). "TZ" stands for placenta, and "WGP" represents the outer pericarp. The suffixes "-1" and "-2" indicate two biological replicates.
