Evidence of critical transition in barrier elevation in the Virginia barrier islands

Data used in the pre-print "Critical transition in barrier islands’ dune ecosystem and the sudden loss of barrier’s resilience" in Earth-ArXiv.

Data is divided into three file groups:

-- Elevation_year_().csv: Alongshore maximum barrier elevation data for a given year and a given barrier island. This data was used to generate figures 1 and 3.

-- Elevation_GrowthRate_().csv: Growth rate for a given initial maximum elevation. This data was used in figure 2.

-- Random_Elev_Time.csv: Synthetic random barrier elevation as function of time, used in figure 5.
