This dataset describes the population genetics of 3 kelp species in Alaska, sugar kelp (Saccharina latissima), split kelp (Hedophylum nigripes), and winged-kelp (Alaria spp.), using 3 molecular markers: mitochondrial DNA, chloroplast DNA, and microsatellite DNA.
