Water Right Places Of Use

The GWIS POU is always located based on the narrative description as interpreted from the water right document. The POU is not relocated unless the water right document’s place-of-use narrative description is changed, which usually requires processing the water right document. The GWIS POU may be associated with one or more GWIS points. The GWIS POU is always associated with at least one GWIS point, because water right documents (and their POUs) are often selected based on the locations of their associated device points (for example, points within a WRIA or points in or near a river).A POU of a water right document may be represented by one or more GWIS polygons.地下水信息系统（Groundwater Information System，GWIS）使用地点（Point of Use，POU）始终依据从水权文件中解读得到的叙述性描述确定位置。该使用地点（POU）不会被调整，除非水权文件中关于使用地点的叙述性描述发生变更，而此类变更通常需办理水权文件相关手续。GWIS使用地点可与一个或多个GWIS点位建立关联。GWIS使用地点始终与至少一个GWIS点位相关联，这是因为水权文件（及其使用地点）通常会根据其关联的设备点位的位置来选定，例如水资源清查区（Water Resource Inventory Area，WRIA）范围内的点位，或河流内部及周边的点位。一份水权文件对应的使用地点可由一个或多个GWIS多边形来表示。
