湿地是全球最具生物多样性和生产力最高的生态系统之一。本数据集依据拉姆萨尔湿地公约网站及保护区等其他辅助资料,对照 Google Earth、天地图等高分辨率遥感影像,确定了全球 100 处大型(面积大于 20 万 hm2)国际重要湿地的边界。以 2001 年和 2013 年 Terra/Aqua卫星 MODIS 传感器 250 m 空间分辨率 16 天合成的 MOD13Q1 产品为数据基础,对归一化植被指数(NDVI)进行滤波和时间序列重建,采用支持向量机方法(SVM)对其进行分类和制图,得到 2001 年和 2013 年全球 100 处国际重要湿地的遥感分类数据集。与高分辨率遥感影像和文献资料等数据比较,湿地遥感分类数据集能够揭示气候波动与人类活动双重影响下国际重要湿地内湿地的时空变化特征;与基于单期遥感数据的湿地监测相比,更具有优势。该数据集可以为湿地保护与管理和全球环境变化研究等提供参考。本数据集压缩后数据量为 102MB,共享方式为完全开放共享。
Wetlands are among the most biodiverse and productive ecosystems globally. This dataset delineated the boundaries of 100 large Ramsar Sites (with an area exceeding 200,000 hectares) worldwide, based on data from the website of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, protected areas and other supplementary materials, and referenced against high-resolution remote sensing images such as Google Earth and Tianditu. Taking the 250-meter spatial resolution, 16-day composite MOD13Q1 products from the MODIS sensors on the Terra and Aqua satellites in 2001 and 2013 as the data foundation, this dataset conducted filtering and time-series reconstruction on the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), then performed classification and mapping using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method, resulting in the remote sensing classification datasets of the 100 global Ramsar Sites in 2001 and 2013. Compared with data such as high-resolution remote sensing images and literature, the wetland remote sensing classification dataset can reveal the spatiotemporal variation characteristics of wetlands within Ramsar Sites under the dual influences of climate fluctuations and human activities; compared with wetland monitoring based on single-temporal remote sensing data, it has greater advantages. This dataset can provide references for wetland conservation and management, global environmental change research and other related fields. The compressed size of this dataset is 102 MB, and it is fully and openly shared.
