Headless statue of enthroned Serapis

Serapis is represented sitting ona throne with the three-headed dog Cerberus at his side. The work is one of the several Roman copies of the god's statue in the Serapeum at Alexandria, attributed to the Greek sculptor Bryaxis. It dates to the 2nd c. AD. This object is part of Scan The World.
