This data is for the submitted manuscript (to Chemical Geology) entitled "Deficiencies of secondary Fe (oxy)hydroxides associated with phyllosilicates and organic carbon limit the formation of water-stable aggregates in Fe-ore tailings ". The data contains original raw data for figure 1, table 1 and 2, Fe K edge XAFS spectra data for Figure 4, 5 and S3, XRD, XPS, as well as ATR-FTIR spectra data for Figure 3, 6 and 7 in the manuscript, respectively.
