Empowering African entrepreneurs: the crucial role of financial inclusion in mediating the relationship between contextual factors and entrepreneurial willingness

The database is extracted from the 2017 edition of the Global Findex database, which covers variables that capture entrepreneurial willingness via variables such as "borrowing for economic purposes" and "saving for economic purposes" as well as other variables on financial inclusion (Demirgüç-Kunt et al., 2017). The Global Findex database was constructed based on nationally representative surveys of over 150,000 adults in 140 economies. We mobilize micro-data on 44,129 African adults from 40 African economies.
