资源简介:
On January 23, 2024, a surface wave magnitude (Ms) 7.1 (moment magnitude (Mw) 7.0) earthquake struck Wushi County in the Aksu Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. The Wushi earthquake triggered various types of landslides, including rockfalls and rolling stones. Based on satellite images before and after the earthquake, we established an inventory of landslides caused by the Wushi earthquake using a visual interpretation method. This dataset contains surface features of coseismic landslides within the 9-degree seismic intensity zone triggered by the Wushi Earthquake in Xinjiang, China. The data format is ESRI shapefile, the geographic coordinate system is GCS_WGS_1984, and the projection coordinate system is WGS_1984_UTM_Zone_44N. The data can be utilized for assessing the landslide hazard triggered by the Wushi Earthquake and for studying the mechanisms of earthquake-induced landslides. It serves as a foundational dataset for earthquake disaster prevention and mitigation planning.
