## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. \n\n\n\nThe New South Wales Office of Water (NOW) provides to the Bureau of Meteorology a copy of their Hydstra surface water database. This dataset is a shapefile generated from the locction data supplied as apart of the the Hydstra data.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe dataset was initially created by the BoM in 15 January 2015. This data has been extracted by the Water Data Support team in the Bureau of Meteorology for selected gauges in the Sydney Basin from Bureau internal systems. Data has been originally supplied to the Bureau by NSW office of Water through the Water Act Regulations, 2008.\n\n\n\nData is supplied by BoM in CSV format and location data used the generate a point shapefile to display monitoring sites in several maps.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (XXXX) SSB Hydstra gauges v01. 新南威尔士州水资源办公室（New South Wales Office of Water, NOW）向澳大利亚气象局（Bureau of Meteorology, BoM）提供了其Hydstra地表水数据库的副本。本数据集即为基于该Hydstra数据集中附带的位置数据生成的形状文件（shapefile）。

## **数据集历史**

本数据集最初由澳大利亚气象局（BoM）于2015年1月15日创建。澳大利亚气象局水文数据支持团队从该局内部系统中，提取了悉尼盆地部分选定水文监测站的相关数据。原始数据由新南威尔士州水资源办公室依据《2008年水法条例》提交至澳大利亚气象局。

澳大利亚气象局以逗号分隔值（Comma-Separated Values, CSV）格式提供该数据，其附带的位置数据被用于生成点状形状文件，以在多幅地图中展示监测站点的分布。
