Global ocean anthropogenic carbon concentrations from preindustrial to 2500 c.e. estimated using TRACE-Python
收藏资源简介:
Included in this dataset are NETCDF4 (.nc) files produced by analysis of the GLODAPv2.2016b gridded product (https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-8-325-2016) using the TRACE-Python software product (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15597123) detailed in the published paper, yielding esimates of ocean anthropogenic carbon concentration and metadata for each cell of the gridded product. Each file provides a snapshot view of the global ocean at 1 degree latitude and longitude resolution over 33 depth horizons. 20 time steps span the years 1750-2500 c.e. and 9 atmospheric carbon dioxide trajectories are represented, yielding 180 files. The files are CF-compliant and self-describing; additionally, the file naming convention follows the pattern: "gd_ds_{atmospheric trajectory}_{snapshot year}.nc". This work is described further in the published paper: Sandborn, D. E., Carter, B. R., Warner, M. J., & Dias, L. M. (2026).
