The alkali metal ion-based batteries is the key component of electrical vehicles and future of renewable energy sources for grid technology. Therefore, their demands are continuously increasing day by day with better capacities and longer life cyles. However, addressing these demands require, design and development of new battery materials with a better understanding of ion diffusion beacuse ion diffusion in batteries is the basic principle by which these devices function. Therefore, the proposed muon spin rotation and relaxation study suing EMU instrument, is to understand the origin of microscopic Na+ ion diffusion mechanism in Na2xMn[Fe(CN)6]2(x+1)/3·zH2O (x= 0, 0.5 and 1) Prussian blue analouges (PBAs) energy storage materials. This will be a first experimental study to reveal micro transport properties of PBAs molecular magnets-based energy materials.
