Genetic architecture of adaptive divergence in Silene dioica and Silene latifolia

We studied the genetic basis of local adaptation in a pair of sister species of Silene, Silene dioica and S. latifolia, in a long-term field experiment. Second-generation interspecific hybrids were transplanted into natural sites of S. dioica and S. latifolia, and survival and flowering incidence were scored over four years. The phenotypes and the ddRAD-seq data were used to conduct a phenotype-genotype association analysis.
