Site Metadata and Cosmogenic-Nuclide Input Data for Antarctic Ice-Sheet Thinning Reconstructions, Last Glacial Maximum to Present This dataset accompanies a Master's thesis reconstructing Antarctic ice-sheet thinning histories from the Last Glacial Maximum (~20 ka) to present, using cosmogenic-nuclide exposure ages compiled from the Informal Cosmogenic-nuclide Exposure-age Database (ICE-D; Balco, ICE-D: Antarctica). It comprises two files: 1. Site metadata (TableA_2_1Metdata.xlsx). Summary metadata for the 61 sites retained in the final thinning-history reconstruction, following quality-control screening. For each site: site number, geographic sub-region, ICE-D short name, latitude and longitude (decimal degrees), estimated Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) ice thickness above present-day ice-surface elevation, and source publication(s) for that thickness estimate. 2. Cosmogenic-nuclide input data (TableA_2_1ICE-DInputData.xlsx). The full compilation of individual ¹⁰Be and ²⁶Al cosmogenic-nuclide sample measurements (n = 1,465) underlying the site-level reconstructions, drawn from ICE-D and the primary literature. Fields include sample and site identifiers, coordinates, sample elevation (absolute and relative to modern ice surface), nuclide concentrations and analytical uncertainties, exposure ages with internal and external 1σ uncertainties (LSDn scaling), sample material, collection date, and data-quality flags (including samples excluded from the final analysis and the reason for exclusion). Individual samples were subsequently merged into spatially clustered sites (10 km threshold) and screened for goodness-of-fit, yielding the 61-site dataset summarized in File 1. Together, these files support full reproducibility of the site selection, exposure-age compilation, and ice-thinning reconstruction described in Chapter 2 of the thesis.
