These data were collected during the first wave(and lockdown) of the COVID-19 pandemic in Switzerland to investigate grocery shopping channel choice behavior. A stated choice (SC) experiment was used to elicit choice behavior under regular (pre-pandemic) and pandemic conditions, allowing for the estimation of pandemic-specific effects on each of the choice attributes. The experiment was embedded in a survey that also recorded respondents’ personal and household-level sociodemographic characteristics, as well as attitudinal questions related to pro-online shopping behavior, risk aversion, and fairness.
The data were collected as part of a final project for the course “Measurement and Modeling of Travel Behavior”.
