MR-1 host adaptation

To identify the evolutionary changes capable of enabling the adaptation of environmental bacterium to a novel vertebrate host, we serially passaged replicate populations of the free-living Shewanella oneidensis MR-1 through the digestive tracts of gnotobiotic larval zebrafish (Danio rerio) and sequenced the S. oneidensis genome before and after passages were completed. Here we deposit the sequencing reads associated with that experiment.
