Attribution of extreme mass loss of New Zealand glaciers

Using extreme event attribution methods and glacier surface mass balance modeling (with a degree day model with added radiation calculation) to calculate the anthropogenic influence on extreme glacier mass-loss years. This repository includes:1) code for preparing and adjusting the climate data (input into the glacier model): glacier_attribution/climate_data 2) the glacier model code (including code for model calibration): glacier_attribution/glacier_model/degree_day 3) the code for working with output of modeled mass balance and calculating attributions: glacier_attribution/output_climscen The data from the attribution calculations is included in the subdirectories in glacier_attribution/output_climscen

本研究采用极端事件归因方法与冰川表面物质平衡建模手段，搭载加入辐射计算模块的度日模型（degree day model），量化人类活动对极端冰川物质损失年份的影响。相关README文档及补充信息可查阅该项目的GitHub页面。本仓库包含以下内容：1. 用于制备与校正气候数据（作为冰川模型输入）的代码，路径为glacier_attribution/climate_data；2. 冰川模型代码（含模型校准代码），路径为glacier_attribution/glacier_model/degree_day；3. 用于处理模型物质平衡输出结果并开展归因计算的代码，路径为glacier_attribution/output_climscen。归因计算所得的相关数据已存储于glacier_attribution/output_climscen的子目录中。
