Number of theater visits in Hungary 2010-2023

The number of theater visits showed steady growth in Hungary between 2010 and 2018, with 2019 marking a slight decrease. This figure dropped in the next year, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, with the number of theater visits totaling 3.2 million in 2021. However, the number of theater visits increased again and reached 6.9 thousand in 2023.
