The Copenhagen Networks Study interaction data

The data represents the multi-layer temporal network which connects a population of more than 700 university students over a period of four weeks. The dataset was collected via smartphones as part of the Copenhagen Networks Study. We include the network of physical proximity among the participants (estimated via Bluetooth signal strength), the network of phone calls (start time, duration, no content), the network of text messages (time of message, no content), and information about Facebook friendships. Thus, we provide multiple types of communication networks expressed in a single, large population with high temporal resolution, and over a period of multiple weeks, a fact which makes the dataset shared here unique. We expect that reuse of this dataset will allow researchers to make progress on the analysis and modeling of human social networks.本数据集呈现了一张多层时序网络（multi-layer temporal network），覆盖了为期四周的700余名大学生的社交连接关系。该数据集作为哥本哈根网络研究（Copenhagen Networks Study）的一部分，通过智能手机采集得到。本数据集包含参与者间的物理近距离接触网络（通过蓝牙信号强度估算）、通话网络（包含通话起始时间与时长，不含通话内容）、短信网络（包含短信发送时间，不含短信内容），以及脸书（Facebook）好友关系信息。因此，本数据集为单个大型群体提供了多种类型的通信网络数据，且具备高时序分辨率与长达数周的观测周期，这一特性使得本次共享的数据集独具特色。我们期望该数据集的复用能够助力研究者在人类社交网络的分析与建模领域取得进展。
