Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) urogential and ocular microbiota and its association with Chlamydia infections

This study describe the microbiota composition of ocular and urogenital sites in free-ranging koalas from south-eastern Queensland, Australia. Utilising this cohort of koalas we investigated the contribution of koala urogenital and ocular microbiota to naturally occurring Chlamydia pecorum infection.
