DJSB Small Area Labour Market - Unemployment Rate SA2 2010-2018

This datasets presents smooth values for the unemployment rate of Statistical Area Level 2 (SA2) regions for each quarter starting December 2010 up to June 2018. The boundaries used for the dataset follow the 2011 edition of the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS).\n\nSmall Area Labour Markets presents regional estimates of unemployment and the unemployment rate at two small area levels:\n\n * For approximately 2,100 Australian Bureau of Statistics’ (ABS) Statistical Area Level 2s (SA2s), on a State/Territory and Metropolitan/Non-metropolitan basis; and\n\n * For each of Australia’s 540 Local Government Areas (LGAs).\n\nThe estimates in Table 1 and 2 are smoothed using a four-quarter average to minimise the variability inherent in small area estimates. Indeed, quarter-to-quarter comparisons may not be indicative of actual movements in the labour market. It is therefore recommended that year-on-year comparisons be used.\n

* 覆盖澳大利亚全部540个地方政府区域（Local Government Areas，LGA）。

* 注意：SA2及LGA尺度下的高细分失业人口与失业率估算值可能存在显著波动性，使用时请务必谨慎。事实上，季度环比对比未必能反映劳动力市场的实际变动情况，因此建议采用年度同比对比开展分析。
