X-ray tomography data presented in Iron Oxidation Links CO2 Mineralisation to Hydrogen Formation by Hassanpouryouzband et al. (2026)

The datasets comprise the X-ray microtomography (XCT) data presented in Iron Oxidation Links CO₂ Mineralisation to Hydrogen Formation by Hassanpouryouzband et al. (2026). XCT imaging was performed at the Experimental X-ray Microtomography Facility, School of GeoSciences, University of Edinburgh. Metadata are provided within each folder. Pristine samples were scanned at 140 kV, whereas post-reaction samples were scanned at 120 kV. The samples are numbered in accordance to their numbers in the manuscript (i.e., 1.zip) contains the data sample 1 as shown in Fig.2 of the manuscript. 1-Post reaction contains the data for sample 1 after the reaction. Sample descriptions and reaction conditions are reported in the published article.
