The Department of Transport, Planning and Local Infrastructure’s goal is tointegrate urban and transport planning with local infrastructure provision todeliver better outcomes for Victorians. The Department and its agencies aim toprovide:- an integrated and sustainable transport system that contributes to aprosperous, inclusive and environmentally responsible State;\\- efficient and effective planning, building, heritage and local governmentsystems, and support for the State’s sport and recreation sector, that ensuresVictorian cities and regions are competitive and sustainable; and\\- authoritative, comprehensive and easily accessible land administration andland information to underpin effective decision-making and appropriate use ofland.
