Image dataset of healthy and pathogen-affected maize leaves with suggested control measures

This dataset contains images of maize (Zea mays, EPPO code: ZEAMX) crop, including both healthy plants and plants affected by major pathogens, collected during the experimentation of the PLANTHEAD Diagnostic Platform in Tanzania, within the framework of the EU Horizon2020 EWA-BELT Project (GA#862848). Within the dataset, the following diseases and their corresponding EPPO codes are represented: Maize Lethal Necrosis (EPPO Code: n/a) Exserohilum turcicum (EPPO Code: SETOTU) Maize streak virus (EPPO Code: MSV000)* Each folder is organized by pathogen to facilitate data exploration and analysis. In addition, the dataset includes a PDF file providing recommended management solutions for each disease, including agronomic, biological, and chemical measures. *suggested control measures not available
