The objectives of this study were to observe how the systems respond to disturbances and to evaluate the impact of organic matter loading on specific methanogenic activity, volatile fatty acids, and microbial communities during mono (CL), co (CL-M), and triple (CL-M-G) digestion. To improve our understanding of how these complex processes are affected, including microbial interactions and methane production in anaerobic digestion.
