The study aims to understand the drivers of Zostera muelleri (a common seagrass in Australasia) flowering and develop predictive models for spatiotemporal variations of flowering in intertidal meadows with the same climatic region and across physio-graphically heterogenous seascapes in Australia. This information is then used to provide guidelines for seagrass seed nursery designs.
本研究旨在明确穆氏大叶藻(Zostera muelleri,澳大拉西亚常见海草物种)的开花驱动因子,并为澳大利亚境内同属一个气候区、且分布于地貌异质海洋景观中的潮间带海草草甸构建其开花时空变异的预测模型。相关研究成果将为海草苗种繁育场的设计提供科学指导依据。
