During the past 6 years, we at Parkes and collaborators at other\r\nradio telescopes have been remarkably successful at discovering\r\nmillisecond pulsars (MSPs) associated with unidentified Fermi-LAT\r\ngamma-ray sources. Based on lessons learned, we here propose to\r\nextend our P814 project: thus far we have discovered 11 MSPs in\r\nrepeated 1-hour searches at 1.4 GHz of 56 unidentified LAT sources\r\nwith spectral characteristics that are consistent with those of\r\nknown pulsars. Because of interstellar scintillation, large orbital\r\nacceleration, and eclipses, it is important to search the most\r\nhighly ranked sources multiple times. Here we propose to reobserve\r\n14 high Galactic latitude unidentified Fermi sources so that we end\r\nup with four separate observations of each; and to observe four\r\ntimes each the six most highly ranked unidentified sources selected\r\nfrom the third Fermi-LAT source catalogue (3FGL) that have not yet\r\nbeen searched at Parkes. The overall time request is 61 hours on\r\nsource, or 67 hours including overheads.
