Time delay between non-invasively measured pulse oscillations in cerebral macro- and microcirculation

About: Data were collected at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology between May 2024 and January 2025. The study was approved by the bioethical committee of the Lower Silesian Chamber of Physicians (approval number 03/PNDR/2024). Participants were healthy volunteers between 18 and 35 years. Exclusion criteria any vascular risk factors (hypertension, smoking, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular or neurological diseases). Before the measurement was performed, the participants were instructed to abstain from consuming caffeine and alcohol and to avoid engaging in intensive exercise for at least 12 hours.
