The contribution summarizes four educational experiences in social science teaching addressed to 427 students of infant and primary education at the Faculty of Education of the University of Barcelona (Spain). For these experiences we have mobilized ten researchers, fourteen class-groups of two elementary schools, two universities, two prisons and a foundation that deals with the assistance of homeless people, between 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. Our teaching practice aspires to initial training based on the exercise of democracy in concrete pedagogical and didactic contexts.
