Line W Hydrography including pressure, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, sulfur hexafluoride, and dissolved chlorofluorocarbons from bottle and CTD casts from the R/V OCEANUS in the Northwest Atlantic from August 31st, 2009 to September 7th, 2009 (NODC Accession 0068682)

This dataset represent one of a series of hydrographic sections conducted along Line W from the continental shelf south of New England toward Bermuda. A total of 26 full depth casts consisting of CTD (conductivity, temperature, pressure and oxygen), LADCP (lowered acoustic Doppler current profiler),and rosette water samples were collected between 31AUG2009 and 10SEP2009. Salinity and dissolved oxygen were analyzed from water samples on board the ship and used to calibrate the CTD sensors. Water samples were also analyzed for transient tracers (CFCs, SF6 and I-129).

本数据集为沿W航线（Line W）从新英格兰南部大陆架向百慕大方向开展的系列水文断面调查之一。2009年8月31日至9月10日期间，共计完成26个全深度水文测站的观测，采集数据涵盖CTD（电导、温度、压力与溶解氧传感器，conductivity, temperature, pressure and oxygen）、下放式声学多普勒海流剖面仪（LADCP, lowered acoustic Doppler current profiler）观测数据，以及罗塞塔采水器采集的水样。研究人员对船上获取的水样进行盐度与溶解氧分析，以此校准CTD传感器；同时还对水样中的瞬态示踪剂（氯氟烃CFCs、六氟化硫SF6及碘-129 I-129）开展了分析。
