Life and work situation of the people in Eastern Germany. Topics:
Assessment of the development of the situation in the job market in the
next few months; employment; work in a job creation organization or job
promotion company; importance of characteristics of occupational work
and the occupation; highest school degree; type and time of vocational
degrees; reasons for further vocational training (scale); statement of
occupation at the time or last practiced or activity exercised.
Questions on first, previous and current employment: area of business
affiliation; company size; difficulties in search for work; length of
company employment; occupational position; interruptions of occupation;
length, point in time as well as major reason of interruption of
employment. Frequency of change of company after first job; change to
the current or last company before or after the turning point; reason
for interruption of employment before the last change of company;
comparison of current income with previous; tie of the last change of
company with a change of occupation; extent of knowledge and skills
used from the last occupation; improvement through last change of
company; ways to search for work (scale); preference for full-time work
