NRS-18722 | Final Reports of Legislative Reviews [NSW Ombudsman]

A final report is prepared at the conclusion of an investigation under the Ombudsman Act 1974. The report is initially provided to the relevant minister and complainant and made public once the report is tabled in Parliament.Final reports of legislative reviews encompass the work of several agencies. These include: An audit of individual planning; in Multiple Sclerosis Society of NSW Report under Section 11(c) of the Community Services (Complaints Review and Monitoring) Act 1993; Report under section16 of the Police Powers (Vehicles) Act Vehicle Powers, Questions and Answers; August 2000; and DNA Sampling and other forensic procedures conducted on suspects and volunteers under the Crimes (Forensic Procedures) Act 2000.Indexes and registers of the reports are held by the Ombudsman.
