Pollen and macrofloral samples were examined fran Pdhakuloa on the island
of Hawaii. Pollen samples represent the present ground surface to establish the
pollen record of the modern flora, as well as from subsurface proveniences to
examine pre-human flora in the area. Macrofloral samples were also collected
from several subsurface locations within block B and feature B.
