ZooMS dataset for Missale Aboense: The first printed book for Finland

ZooMS data from Missale Aboense Dataset overview This dataset contains raw MALDI-TOF spectra, R Scripts, and associated metadata from the study "Text, Tradition, and Technology: Rediscovering the first printed book for Finland, Missale Aboense, through interdisciplinary analysis" led by Kasso et al. Contents Raw spectra: MALDI-TOF spectra in .mzML format from collagen derived from parchment. R scripts: 1) 01_estimate_PQI.R used to calculate PQI values and 2) 02_find_speciesID.R for determining the species ID of parchment. Metadata: MA_platemap.csv containing sample IDs, spot number, and their respective location in the computer used to perform the analysis. Usage instructions Users can reproduce the analysis by running the provided R scripts. Ensure the file paths in the script correspond to the local directory structure of the downloaded spectra and metadata files.
