Genetic and Epigenetic Stability of Cannabis Micropropagation

Micropropagation is increasingly important in the cannabis industry, yet its genetic and epigenetic consequences remain poorly understood. In this study, we investigated three commercial cannabis cultivars (Critical Purple Kush, Green Crack, and Gelato) maintained in vitro for 60 weeks. Using a combination of 3D-GBS and EM-seq, we identified both single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and differentially methylated positions (DMPs) across time points, followed by GO and KEGG pathway enrichment analyses.
