Modern LaTeX Editions of Public-Domain Mathematics Manuscripts: Clean PDF and Artifact Downloads with Darboux Repair

This version carries forward the v8 Riemann-repaired clean PDF+artifacts release and adds a repaired public display PDF for darboux_lecons_geometrie. The previous display file for this Darboux item was held locally because it was visually poor/raw-OCR-like with sparse or blank sampled pages. The v9 repair replaces that rejected display surface with a readable Internet Archive scan of the original public-domain fourth part of Darboux's Lecons sur la theorie generale des surfaces, while keeping the generated TeX and repair QC inside the per-work artifact ZIP. Live project status as of 2026-05-26: 31 works are included as clean candidates, each with a direct display PDF and a matching per-work artifact ZIP. There are currently no locally held display-PDF candidates in this clean upload lane. The release also includes a full-repo ZIP for users who want the complete current clean corpus in one file. Download pattern: use pdf__<work>.pdf for the reader-facing PDF, artifacts__<work>.zip for TeX/source/QC artifacts, and full_repo__modern_latex_corpus_v9_darboux_repaired.zip for the full included clean-candidate corpus. Quality policy: public display PDFs are admitted only after structural checks and sampled rendering/text QC. Files that are structurally valid but visually sparse, blank, inverted, raw dump-like, or otherwise not useful as reader-facing PDFs are held or replaced before publication. Rights/provenance policy: the public record contains public-domain source works, scans of those original works, and machine-assisted transcriptions of those original works. Scans of the original papers/books are release material. Modern collected-work packages are held only when that exact package is confirmed copyrighted; in that case the workflow strips prefaces, publisher matter, editorial apparatus, and exact collected-work organization, then publishes original public-domain papers as coherent per-paper scan/transcription units.
