Stage 2 Interviews: Investigating models for the development of online educational interventions

These zoom interviews constitute Stage 2 of 3 data collection stages for a professional doctorate thesis. These interviews follow an online survey and are conducted with survey respondents who indicated familiarity with gamification and digital game-based learning as tools for education. The interviews seek to explore perceptions of gamification and game-based learning and to elicit any information the interviewee has about technology and educational theory. In this interview, interviewees observe a series of games that to a greater or lesser degree educate the player. Interviewees are asked to evaluate and provide their view on these artefacts. The interviews also seek to gather information that will be useful in the design of subsequent group workshops which will be used for further data collection.

本次Zoom访谈为某专业博士学位论文三轮数据采集阶段中的第二阶段。本次访谈于一项在线调研后开展，受访对象为曾表明自身熟悉将游戏化（gamification）与基于数字游戏的学习（digital game-based learning）作为教育工具的调研参与者。本次访谈旨在探究受访者对游戏化与基于数字游戏的学习的认知，并征集受访者所掌握的有关技术与教育理论的相关信息。在本次访谈中，受访者将观摩一系列不同程度具备教育功能的游戏作品。受访者需对上述作品进行评估并阐述自身观点。本次访谈同时旨在收集可用于设计后续小组工作坊的相关信息，该工作坊将用于开展进一步的数据采集工作。
