Fluorescence Enhancement Measurement of hydrophobic components and polysaccharides in sediment exposed to oil and dispersant

This dataset contains marine aggregate stain pictures from mesocosm treatments of seawater control, WAF (water accommodated fraction of Macondo oil), CEWAF (chemically enhanced WAF through adding Corexit), and DCEWAF (diluted CEWAF) using a Fluorescence Microscope during the period of August-October 2015. Briefly, different dyes were applied to sediments to highlight different components and capture the size and intensity variations between treatments.

本数据集收录2015年8月至10月期间，借助荧光显微镜获取的中宇宙（mesocosm）实验处理组海洋聚集体染色图像。实验处理组涵盖海水对照组、WAF（马孔多原油水容纳组分（water accommodated fraction, WAF））、CEWAF（添加Corexit的化学强化型WAF）以及DCEWAF（稀释型CEWAF）。简言之，实验通过向沉积物施加不同染料以凸显各组分特征，并捕捉不同处理组间的粒径与荧光强度差异。
