Effect of salicylic acid and methyl jasmonate on the gene expression in pea sedling roots

We performed RNA-Seq analysis of the effect of salicylic acid (50 mkM) and methyl jasmonate (20 mkM) on gene expression in pea seedlings. Pea seedlings (Tan cultivar) were grown on liquid Hoagland-Arnon medium under artificial lamp light (16-hour light period) at 25C. Eight-day-old seedlings were treated with salicylic acid for 12 h, 24 h, or 72 h, and with methyl jasmonate for 24 h or 72 h.
