This dataset was used in Röpke et al. (2024) in the study 'The seasonal rate of discharge change as the primary trigger synchronizing freshwater fish reproduction in an Amazonian River', published at Reviews in Fisheries and Fish Biology to investigate: 1 Two questions were addressed: 1) Which variables are the proximal cues explaining the final gonadal preparation of fish? 2) In riverine environments, do migratory and non-migratory fish species respond to similar variables? We present two datasets here are: 1- the index of reproduction for the fish assemblage (CRI) and the respective environmental data (CRI and environmental variables.csv) used to perform statistic tests; 2 - data of proportion of individuals ready to reproduce (mature gonads/initiating spawning) by species and sampling events (species reproduction by sampling event.csv) this data were used to the calculus of CRI. A description of each column is presented in each csv file. Sampling methods and CRI calculus can be found in Röpke et al. (2024).
(Reviews in Fisheries and Fish Biology)》的研究《亚马逊河流域淡水鱼类繁殖同步的核心触发因子:径流变化的季节速率》(原英文标题:The seasonal rate of discharge change as the primary trigger synchronizing freshwater fish reproduction in an Amazonian River),该研究旨在解答两个核心问题:1.
