THE INTRODUCTION OF THE SOVIET ADMINISTRATIVE SYSTEM AND SOCIAL CHANGES IN THE QASHQADARYO OASIS (ON THE EXAMPLE OF 1917–1925

This article analyzes the process of the introduction of the Soviet administrative system in the Qashqadaryo Oasis during 1917–1925 from a multifaceted and socio-historical perspective. Within the framework of the research, the transition of the region from the Bukhara Emirate to the Soviet system, the transformation of political institutions, economic reforms, the restructuring of social strata, as well as changes in cultural and religious life are examined through a systematic approach, historical comparison, and source analysis methods. Furthermore, the article reveals the impact of Soviet policy on the structure of local society. The obtained results are of important scientific significance for studying the history of the Qashqadaryo Oasis in the early twentieth century.
