NRS-13269 | Reports on the execution of warrants [Sheriff's Officers. Bathurst]

The information given in each volume includes: plaintiff or defendant, number of writ, former report, date of warrant, when received (day and hour), action (or if none taken, why), amount to be levied, date levy made, property seized or sold and bailiff's/officer's fees. In 1884 the Sheriff's Bailiff, who acted for the Sheriff in executing warrants of writs of fieri facias, became the Sheriff's Officer. Volume 7/292 appears to duplicate part of the entries in volume 7/293 although the writ numbers do not correspond in all cases. Volume 7/295 has ten entries for Orange dated 5 March 1886 to 4 October 1886. Notices or newspaper cuttings of sale of property are appended in many of the volumes.
