Rice blast is one of the most important diseases to reduce grain yield. To understand the molecular mechanism of rice blast resistant gene Pi1 for resisting regulation in rice, tandem mass tag (TMT) labeling combined with liquid chromatograph-tandem mass spectrometry was used to detected changes in protein levels. Two-week-old seedlings of both the rice blast sensitive line MeiB and the Pi1 introgression line were infected with rice blast for 4 d, then the total proteins were extracted from tissues and used for quantitative proteomics analysis.
