SRO/STO/SRO oxide heterostructure has been shown to exhibit unusual topological hall effect, suggesting the presence of skyrmion and/or non-collinear states. Such states were observed in SRO/SIO heterostructures1 (or others). This remains mostly unexplored in this system, which is otherwise relevant for optimized advanced quantum computing and future low-power cost-effecting spintronics devices. We propose to study the chirality in SRO/STO/SRO oxide magnetic skyrmions probed by the symmetry and the amplitude of dichroism in XRMS, complemented by XMCD measurements to determine orbital and spin moments.
