Microsatellite datasets of cultivated apricot accessions and of Armeniaca spp. natural populations located in Central Asia and in China

An extended sampling of wild and cultivated apricots across Eurasia including the Prunus armeniaca, P. sibirica, P. mume and P. manshurica species was performed to infer the history of wild apricot species divergence and of domestication processes of apricot, based on microsatellite markers and approximate Bayesian computation.
